Couples Massage

Couples massage is a great way to experience a massage in tandem in Flower Mound—two people share a room during their massage, with each person on their own comfortable heated table and different therapists. You can talk to each other, or be silent the whole time letting your mind decompress and relax. Experience this with someone you care about, are close to, mothers and daughters, couples, sisters, or a good friend.Couples massage is about the shared experience—a great way to connect with someone. Is your spouse or partner new to this experience? This is a great opportunity to introduce them to the relaxing and healthy benefits of massage.

Special occasions, such as anniversaries, honeymoons, or Valentine’s gift, Mother’s Day gift, or any romantic special day you wish to share, are all fabulous days to share a couples massage. Rooms are designed for a comfortable relaxing ambience for you and your partner. Ask your licensed therapists (LMT) about anything special you would like for that day.

What to Expect For Your  Couples Massage:
One room is usually dedicated to couples massage, which means we have  two tables in one large room. If you prefer, you can have your couples massage in separate rooms, but this takes away from the shared experience. Once you and your friend, partner, spouse, or family members arrive, our licensed therapists will ask each of you questions to get a better understanding of your needs or what particular areas of your body need help.

Lighting and Music Set a Relaxing Tone At Our Argyle / Highland Village Location:
We have taken much care and thought in designing our couples therapy rooms to contribute to relieving stress--soft music combined with soft lights, earth tones, and subtle wall decor create a comfortable atmosphere that allows both of you to unwind. Each therapist applies a custom massage to meet your and your loved one's needs.

During Your Couples Massage:
Our therapists will communicate periodically with you to ensure he or she is not applying too much pressure, or not applying enough. Typically our therapists will methodically work through your body, left to right, head to feet, front and back--however, should you want more work in a a specific area on your body, for example, your shoulders and neck area, tell your Argyle / Highland Village massage therapist so they can adjust and spend more time on these specific areas.

What next:
Once your couples massage is over, we provide water for you--it's important to drink plenty of water after your treatment because of the toxins that have been released during your massage -- similar to the effects you experience after a workout. This is also a good time to provide feedback to our therapists so next time you schedule an appointment at our Argyle/ Highland Village location we can incorporate the feedback we've received. It's our goal to make your couples massage relaxing and enjoyable -- so don't hesitate to talk to us about how we can improve and make your next experience even better.

We can create an even more soothing and relaxing couples massage by adding what we call an elevation—elevations are little extras, add-ons, such as aromatherapy, hot stones, peppermint foot scrub, or hot towel cold stone face massage, which make your next appointment at one of our Houston locations that much more enjoyable, soothing, and relaxing. Ask about our elevations before your scheduled massage.

The health benefits of couples massage are well known, feelings of rejuvenation, glowing, less stress and anxiety, increased circulation throughout the body, increased mental focus, and a general uplifting in your wellbeing.
